Andrea Lissoni
Born in 1974 at Seregno (MB – Italy), he graduated from the Violin Making School of Milan in 2001. Currently, he lives and works in Milan (Italy).
At the beginning of his career, he was one of the members of “Liuteria Marconi”, a violin making workshop created by three classmates graduated from the Violin Making School of Milan in 2001.
His cooperation with M° Marco Piccinotti started from that period and still continues nowadays in all the aspects of making, repair and sound adjustment of bowed musical instruments.
Since 2004, he decided to open his own workshop where he works on his own. Throughout Milan, he is well known for the high quality of his instruments as well as for the acoustic results of his sound adjustments.
Many of his instruments have been sold abroad, mainly in Asia and the US.
Throughout his career, he attended various violin making competitions. Every time, he could enter the final stage and win good prizes.
